I have a challenge for you. Name 10 headlines from the past 10 days.

Sounds simple right?

Just hop onto the interwebs. Start up the Google machine. Pull up a site here, find an article there and Boom! List done.

But what if I told you that you had to make your list completely from memory? No internet. No television, No newspapers.  Just the headlines that stuck out most in your mind. A different proposition isn’t it? In one sense it is a test of your memory, but in another sense, it is a reflection of the type information that impacts you and in turn stays with you.

In a study called 0 Days, news headlines between May 6 and May 15th, 2009 are taken from the BBC News Online and visually depicted by renowned artist Ripo. More than a graphic exhibition, 0 Days explores how in a time where we have access to more information than ever before, today’s headlines often become nothing more than a mental backdrop for tomorrow’s.
